16 of the 20 active futures prop firms on our list put no deadline on the evaluation: there is no day count to beat, so the account stays open until you pass it or breach it.
A time limit is a deadline on the evaluation: reach the profit target within a set number of days of buying it or the account expires unpassed. It is standard in forex prop trading and rare in futures, where most firms bill the evaluation as a monthly subscription and let it run as long as you keep paying.
How we ranked it. Ranked by all-in price on the $50K account: the list price with the best current code applied, plus any activation fee, cheapest first. A firm with no qualifying $50K account comes after those that have one, shown at its nearest size. Ties go A to Z.

16 of the 20 active futures prop firms on our list set no deadline at all. The four that are not here are off the page because of a real rule, not a gap in our data. Apex Trader Funding gives every evaluation 30 calendar days from purchase, on all four sizes and both drawdown types. Bulenox wants Qualification and Momentum finished within 30 days of activation, and a reset does not extend it, though its Fast Track plans have no evaluation stage to time. BluSky Trading Company is a split: Launch, Propel and Static renew monthly without resetting an open evaluation, while Orbit is a one-time purchase that expires after 30 days. IQ Capital runs its challenge, Core Funded and Instant Funded accounts for 30 days and asks for a $19 extension to keep them going.
No deadline does not mean no clock. Every one of the 16 firms here runs an inactivity rule instead, and some of them are tight: E8 Markets disables a futures account after seven days with no trade opened and closed, Funded Futures Family wants at least one trade a week or the account auto-closes and cannot be restored, and Purdia Capital marks an account inactive after 30 idle days and permanently disables it 30 days later. IQ Capital is the only firm on our list that says it has no inactivity rule, but it is not on this page because its challenges expire.
