Prop firms with no consistency rule

14 of the 20 active futures prop firms on our list sell at least one evaluation with no consistency rule, so a single big day cannot hold the pass back.

A consistency rule caps how much of your profit can come from one day. Miss it and the balance sits there passing on paper while the account stays unpassed, or the payout is withheld until the profit spreads out. Firms usually set it between 20 and 50 percent of total profit, and it is the rule that catches traders who make the target in one good session. New to it? Here is what a consistency rule is.

14 of the 20 active futures prop firms on our list sell at least one evaluation with no consistency rule at all. Four drop it on every evaluation they sell: Apex Trader Funding, Bulenox, Phidias Prop Firm and Purdia Capital. The rest sell it plan by plan, so the plan name matters more than the firm: Funded Futures Family drops it on Fast Pass, Prime and Prime Max but keeps 40 percent on Velocity and 50 percent on Premier+ Standard, BluSky Trading Company drops it on Orbit while Launch runs 50 percent and Propel and Static run 34 percent, and IQ Capital drops it on its Core challenges while Rapid runs 40 percent.

Check the funded column before you buy. Clearing the evaluation with no rule does not mean the funded account has none, and most plans here reintroduce it at the payout stage: Apex applies a 50 percent best-day test against profit since the last approved payout, which withholds the payout option rather than closing the account, and E8 Markets' Signature runs a clean challenge and adds the rule once funded. Only Funded Futures Family's Fast Pass, FundedNext Futures' Rapid Daily, MyFundedFutures' Pro, Phidias' Express to Live and Purdia Capital's Beginner, EOD and Pro plans are free of it at both stages.

Which prop firms have no consistency rule?

14 on our list sell at least one evaluation without one, and four have no rule on any evaluation they sell: Apex Trader Funding, Bulenox, Phidias Prop Firm and Purdia Capital. Elsewhere it is a plan-level rule, so read the plan column rather than picking by firm.

What happens if I break a consistency rule?

It depends on the stage and the firm. On an evaluation it normally holds the pass back until more profitable days even the balance out, rather than failing the account. On a funded account it usually withholds that payout request while the account carries on trading.
Q3

Does no consistency rule apply to the funded account too?

Usually not. Most plans on this page run a clean evaluation and bring the rule back at the payout stage, which the funded column shows plan by plan. The plans free of it at both stages are named in the table, and there are far fewer of them than of clean evaluations.

How is a consistency rule calculated?

As a share of total profit, measured against your single best day. A 40 percent rule means no one day may be 40 percent or more of everything you have made on the account. Firms check it at the pass or at the payout request, not while a trade is open.

Does the rule block the pass or the payout?

Both, depending on the stage it sits at. On an evaluation it holds the pass back until more profitable days even the balance out. On a funded account it normally withholds that payout request while the account keeps trading, which is how Apex Trader Funding describes its own test.

Do instant funding accounts have a consistency rule?

Some do and some do not, and they are not on this page because they have no evaluation stage to be free of. The instant funding prop firms page lists every instant account on our list, and the funded rule for each one is on the account page under its firm.

Should I pick a plan with no consistency rule?

If you make your money in bursts, yes, because that is the trading style the rule penalises. A trader who grinds small profitable days rarely trips it and can take the cheaper plan instead. Compare the two plans at the same firm, because the price often moves with the rule.
Q8

What is a consistency rule?

A cap on how much of your total profit any single day can be. A 50 percent rule on a $3,000 target means no one day may account for $1,500 or more of it. Firms use it to filter out one lucky session rather than to fail an account outright.
