How this site makes money, said plainly.

We earn commissions

Save On Prop Firms, operated by Calculated Risk LLC, has affiliate relationships with some of the prop firms listed on this site, and with some trading tools and services. When you click one of our links or use one of the discount codes we publish and then make a purchase, the company pays us a commission. This is how the site is funded, and it is why the codes exist: the firms give our readers a better price than list, and give us a cut for sending informed traders their way.

It costs you nothing extra

Our commission never increases your price. In every case we publish, the code gives you a discount off the firm's list price; you pay less than you would going direct without a code, and the commission comes out of the firm's side.

Money does not move the rankings

The comparison board sorts by real numbers: all-in price, profit target to drawdown ratio, payout speed, and the other columns you can see and sort yourself. Firms cannot pay to rank higher, which is why the cheapest account sits at the top regardless of whose affiliate program pays what. The board opens sorted by cheapest all-in price, the promos page by largest discount, and the prop firm directory alphabetically.

Verified Partners and the Featured Deal

Not every firm on the site pays us. A firm marked Verified Partner is one we have an active affiliate relationship with. The label tells you about that commercial relationship only: it is not a rating, and it is not a guarantee of the firm's quality, reliability or payouts. On the prop firm directory, firms marked Unverified are hidden until you choose to show them, and firms under a caution notice stay listed with an amber warning badge.

The Featured Deal on the homepage is picked by hand from our existing affiliate partners. No firm pays for that spot or for any other placement on the site.

The FTC part

In line with the United States Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255): assume that any link to a prop firm or trading service on this site, in our newsletter, on social media or in our Discord server is an affiliate link and represents a material connection between us and that company. Statements about prices and discounts reflect data we verify on the dates shown, and your results with any firm depend on your own trading.
