Trading Rules
KYC
Know Your Customer identity verification. Firms verify your identity before the first payout, and one-account-per-person style rules are enforced against it.
In plain English
KYC is the identity check, usually a government ID and sometimes proof of address, that firms run before paying out. It exists for payment compliance and to enforce per-person limits: maximum accounts per household, no account sharing, and no trading accounts registered to someone else.
Do the math on per-person account caps before buying multiple evaluations, and expect the first payout to take longer than later ones because of this step.
- A trader passes two evaluations under a spouse's email to skirt the account cap.
- KYC at payout ties both to one household and the firm voids the accounts under its terms.
