Nexgen ProTrader Funding Complete Guide: AMP/CQG Backend

Published: January 07, 2026

Nexgen ProTrader Funding is the only futures prop firm built exclusively on AMP Futures infrastructure with professional CQG data feeds—the same institutional-grade platform used by floor traders and professional trading firms for decades. While most prop firms operate on disconnected simulation platforms, Nexgen ProTrader Funding traders execute on real AMP Futures infrastructure, giving them access to live market depth, professional order routing, and the reliability that comes with one of the industry's most respected brokerage backends.

Founded by John Novak, who has been training futures traders since 2000 through Nexgen Software Services, Nexgen ProTrader Funding combines 25+ years of trader education expertise with a prop firm structure designed to reward skill and consistency. Traders can pass the evaluation in as little as 1 day, trade with no daily loss limits at any stage, and follow a clear path to 100% profit splits after just 16 payouts.

This complete guide covers everything you need to know about Nexgen ProTrader Funding: evaluation rules, closed trade drawdown mechanics, Semi-Live account structure, the 100% profit split progression, payout requirements, activation fees, and how Nexgen compares to other futures prop firms.

What is Nexgen ProTrader Funding?

Nexgen ProTrader Funding is a futures prop firm that allows traders to earn real payouts by trading simulated capital through a three-stage progression system:

  1. Evaluation Account - Pass a one-time profit target with closed trade drawdown

  2. Semi-Live Account - Trade simulated capital as a 1099 contractor while Nexgen may mirror your trades in a live sub-account for payouts

  3. ProTrader Live Account - After 16 payouts, transition to a real capital account under power of attorney with 100% profit split

The Nexgen ProTrader Funding difference:

  • AMP Futures / CQG Backend - Only prop firm on institutional-grade AMP infrastructure

  • No Daily Loss Limit - Never get stopped out mid-session for intraday drawdown

  • 1-Day Pass Possible - Hit your profit target in 1 trading day if you execute well

  • Closed Trade Drawdown - Maximum drawdown level only updates after closed trades, not unrealized P&L

  • 100% Profit Split - After 16 payouts, keep 100% of all profits (not 90%, not 80%—100%)

  • Up to 90% OFF Evaluations - Monthly subscriptions as low as $14.90-$39.90 with code SOPF

  • Activation Fee Credited Back - One-time activation fee includes account setup and KYC verification

  • Free Daily Education - Live Discord classes Monday-Friday since 2000

Why Nexgen ProTrader Funding Was Created

John Novak, founder of Nexgen Software Services, has been training futures traders since 2000 through the company's proprietary Fibonacci-based trading methodology. After helping thousands of traders develop profitable strategies through Nexgen's T3 Fibs software and daily Discord education, Novak recognized a fundamental problem: traders with proven strategies lacked access to capital without risking their own money.

In 2025, Novak launched Nexgen ProTrader Funding to solve three major problems he observed across the prop firm industry:

Problem #1: Daily Loss Limits Kill Profitable Day Trading Strategies

Most prop firms enforce strict daily loss limits that force traders to stop trading mid-session, even when their analysis is correct and positions would recover by market close.

Real scenario: You're trading a $50K account with a $1,000 daily loss limit. At 10:30 AM, you enter an NQ long position that moves against you temporarily. By 11:45 AM, you're down $1,050 intraday. The prop firm liquidates your position automatically due to the daily loss limit breach—even though your trade would have recovered to a $900 profit by the 4:00 PM close.

With daily loss limits, you never see that winner. You're stopped out by an arbitrary rule, not by the market.

Problem #2: Unrealized P&L Drawdown Punishes Position Holding

Traditional prop firms calculate drawdown based on unrealized profit and loss during trades. This means intraday volatility can breach your account even when you're managing risk properly and following your day trading plan.

The problem: If you're up $2,000 on the day and then enter a position that goes $1,500 against you temporarily, most firms count that against your drawdown immediately—even though you haven't closed the trade and it's part of your planned strategy.

Problem #3: No Clear Path to Real Capital

Most prop firms keep traders in simulated environments forever with no defined progression to trading real capital or earning 100% of profits. It's a subscription model designed to collect fees, not build professional traders.

Nexgen ProTrader Funding solves all three problems with closed trade drawdown, no daily loss limits, and a guaranteed path to 100% profit splits after 16 payouts.

Nexgen ProTrader Funding Evaluation Account: Complete Rules

The Nexgen ProTrader Funding evaluation is a monthly subscription simulated account. You must hit a profit target while staying above your maximum drawdown to advance to a Semi-Live funded account. There is no time limit to pass, with a minimum requirement of 1 trading day.

Important: Once your account balance reaches the profit target, all open positions and pending orders are automatically cancelled to keep your account flat at the passing balance, and your evaluation phase ends. Your monthly subscription will automatically cancel once you pass.

Evaluation Rules Explained

No Daily Loss Limit (Ever)

Nexgen ProTrader Funding does not enforce a daily loss limit during the evaluation, Semi-Live, or ProTrader Live stages. You can be down $2,000 at 11:00 AM and recover by market close without any penalty or forced liquidation.

This is a massive advantage for day traders who:

  • Hold positions through intraday volatility

  • Trade news events (allowed during evaluation)

  • Execute momentum strategies that require patience

  • Manage risk based on technical levels, not arbitrary time-based limits

Closed Trade Drawdown (Drawdown Trails Up Only on New Equity Highs)

Nexgen ProTrader Funding calculates your maximum drawdown based on closed trades only. Your drawdown level only updates after you close a position—unrealized profit or loss during an open trade does not affect your drawdown.

How it works:

Your maximum drawdown level only trails up when you close a winning trade that sets a new equity high. Losing trades do not move the drawdown level—they reduce your account balance but your maximum loss level stays the same.

Formula: Account Balance - Max Drawdown Amount = Maximum Loss Level

Example ($50K evaluation):

  • Starting balance: $50,000

  • Max drawdown: $2,250

  • Maximum loss level: $47,750 (you breach if your balance falls below this)

Key point: During the day, if you're in an open trade that's down $1,500 unrealized, your maximum loss level doesn't change. Only when you close that trade does your account balance update. If it's a losing trade, your balance drops but your maximum loss level stays the same. If it's a winning trade that creates a new equity high, your maximum loss level trails up.

Why this matters:

Traditional prop firms use unrealized trailing drawdown, meaning your drawdown trails up based on unrealized gains during open trades. If you're up $2,000 unrealized but the position pulls back to only +$500, you've already lost $1,500 of drawdown cushion even though you never closed the trade. This forces traders to exit winning positions prematurely to lock in drawdown before the market pulls back, preventing them from letting winners run.

With closed trade drawdown, you can hold positions through normal intraday volatility without worrying about getting liquidated mid-trade. Your risk management happens at position close, not during the trade. However, if you exceed the maximum loss level during a trade, the system will automatically liquidate your positions—you cannot hold a position beyond the maximum loss level.

Can You Pass in 1 Day?

Yes. Nexgen ProTrader Funding allows traders to pass the evaluation in 1 trading day if you hit the profit target while maintaining the drawdown rules. Minimum 1 trading day is required to pass.

Example: On a $50K evaluation, if you make $2,750 in closed profit on day 1 and your account balance never falls below the maximum drawdown level, you pass immediately. Once your balance reaches $52,750, all positions and orders will auto-liquidate and you move to the upgrade process.

However: Nexgen recommends taking 3-7 days to pass the evaluation. Passing in 1 day is possible, but gradual, consistent progress demonstrates better risk management.

News Trading (Evaluation Only)

During the evaluation phase, you can trade any news event without restriction. This includes:

  • Non-Farm Payroll (NFP)

  • Federal Reserve announcements/minutes (FOMC)

  • Consumer Price Index (CPI)

  • Crude oil inventories

  • Natural gas inventories

  • Bond auctions

News trading is a major advantage for traders who specialize in high-volatility events. Most prop firms enforce blackout windows around major news releases, but Nexgen ProTrader Funding allows full news trading during the evaluation.

Important: Once you advance to Semi-Live, news trading is restricted to 1 minute before and 1 minute after red flag news events as marked on Forex Factory's economic calendar.

Trading Hours

Sunday 6:00 PM EST through Friday 5:00 PM EST (CME futures market hours). You cannot place new trades within 5 minutes of market close due to low liquidity and risk of forced overnight positions.

Platform Compatibility

Nexgen ProTrader Funding works with:

  • TradingView (primary platform, recommended)

  • CQG Desktop (professional institutional platform)

  • Other AMP Futures-supported platforms (limited technical support)

Important: NinjaTrader is not supported for Nexgen ProTrader Funding evaluations or funded accounts. TradingView is the recommended platform and offers the best user experience with easy setup.

Account Limits

You can hold up to 10 active evaluation accounts and up to 5 funded Semi-Live or ProTrader Live accounts simultaneously.

After trading 5 funded accounts for 90 days with consistent profitability, your maximum account limit may be increased on a case-by-case basis after review by Nexgen.

Activation Fees & Upgrade Process

Once you pass your evaluation by hitting the profit target, you'll need to complete a one-time activation process to upgrade to a Semi-Live account. This includes:

  • Providing valid ID

  • Providing proof of address

  • Signing the Trader Contract Agreement

  • Paying a one-time activation fee

  • Transition from evaluation to Semi-Live account

  • Access to payout system

  • 1099 contractor onboarding

The activation fee is a one-time cost per account. Once paid, you can begin trading your Semi-Live account within 24 hours.

Nexgen ProTrader Funding Semi-Live Account: Rules & Payout Structure

Once you pass the evaluation and complete the activation process, you advance to a Semi-Live Account. This is technically still a simulated account, but you become a 1099 independent contractor for Nexgen ProTrader Funding and are eligible for payouts.

Important distinction: You're trading on a simulation platform, but Nexgen reserves the right to mirror your trades in a real-money sub-account at their discretion. Per the contract, Nexgen may replicate trades at any ratio without notice—the decision to copy trades is entirely at Nexgen's discretion and may or may not be exercised.

Semi-Live Account Rules

The Semi-Live account follows the exact same core rules as the evaluation:

  • No daily loss limit

  • Closed trade drawdown

  • Do not breach your maximum drawdown level

  • Do not trade more than your allowed contract size

The only rule change: News trading is now restricted. You cannot trade 1 minute before or 1 minute after red flag news events as denoted by Forex Factory's economic calendar.

This includes:

  • Non-Farm Payroll (NFP) - First Friday of month, 8:30 AM EST

  • Consumer Price Index (CPI)

  • FOMC announcements - Wednesdays, 2:00 PM EST

  • Crude oil inventories (if trading crude)

  • Natural gas inventories

  • Bond auctions (if trading 10-year notes or 30-year bonds)

Drawdown Lock Mechanism (Semi-Live & ProTrader Live Only)

In the Semi-Live and ProTrader Live accounts, your drawdown locks permanently once you reach a certain profit level. This is a massive advantage that gives you breathing room to scale your trading without risking a drawdown breach.

How the drawdown lock works:

Formula: Starting Balance + Max Drawdown + $100 = Drawdown Buffer

Once your account balance exceeds the Account Balance To Trigger Drawdown Lock, your maximum loss level stops trailing and locks permanently at the Drawdown Buffer level.

Drawdown Lock Levels by Account Size:

Account Size

Drawdown Buffer (Locked Level)

Account Balance To Trigger Lock

$25,000

$26,850

$28,600

$50,000

$52,350

$54,600

$75,000

$77,850

$80,600

$100,000

$103,400

$106,700

$150,000

$154,900

$159,700

Example ($50K Semi-Live account):

  • Starting balance: $50,000

  • Max drawdown: $2,250

  • Drawdown buffer (locked level): $52,350

  • Trigger balance: $54,600

Scenario:

  • Day 1-5: You trade and grow account to $54,000 → Drawdown trails normally

  • Day 6: Account balance reaches $54,600 → Drawdown lock triggered

  • Your maximum loss level locks permanently at $52,350

  • Day 10: You grow to $60,000 → Max loss level still locked at $52,350 (doesn't move)

  • Day 15: You withdraw $3,000 → Balance drops to $57,000 → Max loss level still locked at $52,350 (doesn't move backward)

This means once you hit the lock, you have $4,650 of permanent cushion ($57,000 - $52,350) even after the withdrawal. The drawdown never moves again, giving you room to trade larger size and take more risk without breaching your account as it grows.

Critical note: Drawdowns do not move backward when you take a withdrawal. If you withdraw $3,000 from a $60,000 account, your new balance is $57,000 but your max loss level stays at $52,350. This reduces your cushion from $7,650 to $4,650, so plan withdrawals carefully to maintain adequate buffer.

Payout Structure & Requirements

Nexgen ProTrader Funding uses a straightforward payout structure with a 60-day probationary period followed by unlimited 90/10 split payouts until you reach 100% profit split.

Profit Split:

  • First 60 trading days: Capped payouts (see table below), 90/10 split

  • After 60 trading days: 90% of profits above buffer + $100, 10% to Nexgen

  • After 16th payout: Transition to ProTrader Live → 100% of all future profits

Payout Requirements:

To qualify for a payout from your Semi-Live account, you must meet three requirements:

1. Complete 8 trading days

A trading day is any day where you placed at least one trade. You must complete 8 separate trading days before requesting a payout. After each approved payout, the counter resets and you must complete another 8 trading days before requesting the next payout.

2. 30% Consistency Rule

In any 8-day payout cycle, no more than 30% of total profits may come from a single trading day. If one day makes up more than 30%, no payout will be processed until further trading reduces that day's weight to 30% or less.

Example: You complete 8 trading days and make $3,000 total profit. On Day 3, you made $1,200. Since $1,200 is 40% of your $3,000 total ($1,200 ÷ $3,000 = 40%), you cannot request a payout yet. You need to keep trading until your total profit reaches at least $4,000, which would make that $1,200 day equal to 30% ($1,200 ÷ $4,000 = 30%). Once you hit $4,000 total profit, you're eligible to request a payout.

3. Maintain minimum $600 above your account buffer

Your account balance must be at least $600 above your drawdown buffer when you request a payout. This ensures you maintain adequate cushion to continue trading after the withdrawal.

Minimum payout: $500

60-Day Probation Period Payout Caps:

During your first 60 trading days in Semi-Live, payouts are capped by account size:

Account Size

Payout Cap (First 60 Days)

Minimum Balance To Withdraw

$25,000

$1,250 every 8 trading days

Withdraw above $26,850

$50,000

$2,000 every 8 trading days

Withdraw above $52,350

$75,000

$2,250 every 8 trading days

Withdraw above $77,850

$100,000

$2,750 every 8 trading days

Withdraw above $103,400

$150,000

$3,000 every 8 trading days

Withdraw above $154,900

Important: For each payout during probation, your account profit must be at least the amount of your payout request since your last request. You can't make $25K on day 1, then earn $50 per day for 8 days, and request a $3,000 payout when the profits only equal $400 for the current period.

After 60 Trading Days:

Once you complete 60 trading days:

  • Payout caps are removed

  • You can withdraw 90% of profits above buffer + $100

  • 30% consistency rule still applies

  • 8 trading day requirement still applies

  • All payouts during probation and after count toward your 16 total payouts

Payout Frequency:

You can request payouts anytime after meeting the 8 trading days and 30% consistency requirements. There are no fixed payout dates or processing windows—submit your request through your client dashboard whenever you're eligible.

Payout Methods:

  • ACH (bank transfer)

  • Wire transfer

  • PayPal

  • Zelle

Traders are paid as 1099 independent contractors, not employees. Non-US citizens must submit a W-8BEN form before their first payout.

The Path to 100% Profit Split: ProTrader Live Account

After your 16th payout from a Semi-Live account, Nexgen ProTrader Funding may transition you to a ProTrader Live Account. This is where Nexgen ProTrader Funding truly stands apart from other prop firms.

What is a ProTrader Live Account?

A ProTrader Live Account is a real-money brokerage account funded with actual capital that you trade under a power of attorney (POA) agreement. You continue as a 1099 contracted trader for Nexgen ProTrader Funding, but now trading their capital directly on a live AMP Futures account.

The game-changing difference:

From this point forward, you keep 100% of all profits—not 90%, not 80%, not a tiered split. 100% of every dollar you make is yours.

This is unprecedented in the prop firm industry. Most firms cap profit splits at 80-90% forever. Nexgen ProTrader Funding gives you a clear path to earning like a professional proprietary trader at an institutional firm.

How the Transition Works

After your 16th payout from Semi-Live:

  1. Nexgen may contact you to begin the ProTrader Live transition (at their discretion)

  2. You sign a power of attorney agreement

  3. Nexgen opens a real-money brokerage account in their name with you as the authorized trader

  4. Your trading moves from simulated platform to live capital

  5. All future profits are 100% yours

  6. Payouts continue every 8 trading days

  7. Commissions become market cost per AMP Futures (no longer fixed $5)

Note: Per the contract, Nexgen reserves the right to replicate your trades at any ratio without notice, even in the ProTrader Live account. However, at this stage, you're trading real capital and all profits generated flow directly to you with no profit split.

Why This Matters

Most prop firms are designed as subscription revenue models. They profit from monthly fees, reset fees, and keeping traders in simulated environments forever with profit splits.

Nexgen ProTrader Funding is designed as a trader development program. Their goal is to graduate you to real capital trading where you're earning 100% of profits and operating as a professional trader. They've structured the entire program around this progression:

  • Evaluation: Prove your strategy works (auto-liquidates at profit target)

  • Semi-Live: Build consistency and extract capital (90/10 split, 1099 contractor)

  • ProTrader Live: Trade real capital with 100% profit split (1099 contractor)

This aligns Nexgen's incentives with yours. They want you to succeed long-term, not churn through evaluation resets.

Trading Rules & Violations

Understanding what will disqualify your Nexgen ProTrader Funding account is critical. Here are the rules that apply across all account types (Evaluation, Semi-Live, and ProTrader Live):

Immediate Disqualification Rules

1. Breaching Your Maximum Drawdown Limit

If your account balance falls below your maximum loss level, your account is immediately liquidated.

  • Evaluation accounts: Auto-reset after 30 days or purchase reset with RESETSOPF code for 50% off

  • Semi-Live/ProTrader Live accounts: Cannot be reset, must restart from evaluation

2. No High-Frequency Trading (HFT)

The average duration of your trades must exceed 15 seconds. Occasional quick exits (stops hit, fast targets) are fine, but if the average of your trades is 15 seconds or less, you'll be flagged for HFT.

3. Trading Within 5 Minutes of Market Close

You cannot place new trades within 5 minutes of your instrument's closing time. Low liquidity near the close creates risk of poor fills or forced overnight positions.

Different markets have different closing times—know your market's schedule.

4. News Trading Restrictions (Semi-Live & ProTrader Live Only)

Cannot trade 1 minute before or 1 minute after red flag news events as marked on Forex Factory's economic calendar:

  • Non-Farm Payroll (NFP) - First Friday, 8:30 AM EST

  • Consumer Price Index (CPI)

  • FOMC announcements - Wednesdays, 2:00 PM EST

  • Crude oil inventories (if trading crude)

  • Natural gas inventories

  • Bond auctions (if trading 10Y/30Y bonds)

Note: News trading is fully allowed during evaluation.

5. Letting Someone Else Trade Your Account

You must be the sole trader on your account. No one else can place trades for you. Copy trading is allowed as long as you are the one placing trades on your leader account, which are then automatically replicated to your follower accounts—you must own and control all accounts.

6. Hedging Between Accounts (Permanent Ban)

Going long in one account and short in the other simultaneously will result in immediate disqualification and permanent ban from Nexgen ProTrader Funding forever.

This applies even if the positions are on different instruments or account sizes.

7. Trading During Limit Up/Down

If a market hits limit up or limit down, you cannot place a trade for 5 minutes after trading resumes.

8. Trading Over Your Contract Limit

You must not trade more than your allowed contract size for your account. If trading at or near max contracts, use limit orders or stop/target orders to exit—market orders and "X" close buttons may be rejected due to margin calculations.

Account Management Rules

Maximum Accounts:

  • 10 evaluation accounts

  • 5 Semi-Live or ProTrader Live accounts

  • After 90 days of profitable trading, your limit may be increased on a case-by-case basis

Billing:

  • Monthly auto-renewal for active evaluations

  • Billing cycles are 30 days (may be 2-3 days before/after previous cycle)

  • Cancel via website before renewal if you don't want to continue

  • Passed evaluations: Monthly auto-renewal cancels automatically

Technical Issues:

Nexgen ProTrader Funding is not responsible for:

  • Platform outages or data issues

  • Internet provider problems

  • Trading computer failures

  • CQG data feed issues

  • Broker execution delays

You're responsible for managing technical risks and should always have redundant backup methods ready. Keep CQG Desktop open as a secondary platform to manually close trades if TradingView or your primary platform fails, and consider having mobile access or alternative internet connections available.

Copy Trading (Allowed)

Nexgen ProTrader Funding allows copy trading under specific conditions:

  • You must be the trader placing orders on the leader account

  • Follower accounts can copy your trades automatically

  • The copier monitors open and closed positions

  • When leader enters, followers enter within microseconds

  • When leader exits, followers execute identical market orders

Important: Always execute on your leader account. Don't accidentally place trades on follower accounts.

What is Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
Nexgen ProTrader Funding is a futures prop firm built on AMP Futures infrastructure that offers traders the opportunity to earn real payouts by trading simulated capital through a three-stage progression: Evaluation Account (pass profit target in minimum 1 day), Semi-Live Account (earn 90% profit split as 1099 contractor), and ProTrader Live Account (earn 100% profit split after 16 payouts). Founded by John Novak in 2025, it's the only prop firm operating on institutional-grade AMP/CQG backend.

Can you pass the Nexgen ProTrader Funding evaluation in 1 day?
Yes, Nexgen ProTrader Funding allows traders to pass the evaluation in 1 trading day if you hit the profit target while maintaining drawdown rules. Minimum 1 trading day is required to pass. However, Nexgen recommends taking 3-7 days to demonstrate better risk management. Once your account balance reaches the profit target, all positions automatically liquidate and your evaluation ends.

Does Nexgen ProTrader Funding have a daily loss limit?
No, Nexgen ProTrader Funding does not enforce a daily loss limit at any stage (Evaluation, Semi-Live, or ProTrader Live). You can experience intraday drawdown and recover by market close without penalty or forced liquidation.

How does closed trade drawdown work in Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
Closed trade drawdown means your account balance only updates after you close a trade, not based on unrealized profit or loss during open positions. Your maximum loss level is calculated by subtracting the max drawdown from your current account balance. This allows you to hold positions through intraday volatility without risking a drawdown breach from temporary unrealized losses.

How does the 100% profit split work at Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
After completing 16 payouts from your Semi-Live account (earning 90% profit split on each), Nexgen may transition you to a ProTrader Live Account where you trade real capital under a power of attorney agreement. From this point forward, you keep 100% of all profits generated—not 90%, not a split—100% of every dollar is yours as a 1099 contracted trader.

When can you request payouts from Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
You can request payouts from your Semi-Live or ProTrader Live account anytime after completing 8 trading days and meeting the 30% consistency rule (no single day can represent more than 30% of your total profits in that 8-day cycle). You must also maintain at least $600 above your account buffer. There are no fixed payout dates—submit requests through your dashboard whenever eligible.

What is the 30% consistency rule at Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
The 30% consistency rule states that in any 8-day payout cycle, no more than 30% of your total profits may come from a single trading day. If one day exceeds 30%, you cannot request a payout until further trading reduces that day's weight to 30% or less. For example, if you make $1,200 on one day out of $3,000 total profit (40%), you need to keep trading until your total profit reaches at least $4,000, which brings that single day down to 30% ($1,200 ÷ $4,000 = 30%).

Is news trading allowed in Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
News trading is fully allowed during the evaluation phase with no restrictions. Once you advance to Semi-Live or ProTrader Live, you cannot trade 1 minute before or 1 minute after red flag news events (NFP, FOMC, CPI, etc.) as marked on Forex Factory's economic calendar.

How does the drawdown lock work in Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
In Semi-Live and ProTrader Live accounts, once your account balance exceeds a specific trigger level (varies by account size), your maximum loss level locks permanently and stops trailing. For example, a $50K account locks at $52,350 when balance reaches $54,600. This gives you a permanent cushion that never moves, allowing you to trade larger size without risking breach as your account grows.

What platforms does Nexgen ProTrader Funding support?
Nexgen ProTrader Funding supports TradingView (recommended), CQG Desktop, and other AMP Futures-supported platforms with limited technical support. NinjaTrader is NOT supported. You do not need to purchase Nexgen's proprietary Fibonacci software to trade evaluations—most traders use their own strategies and platforms.

How many Nexgen ProTrader Funding accounts can you have?
You can hold up to 10 active evaluation accounts and up to 5 funded Semi-Live or ProTrader Live accounts simultaneously. After trading 5 funded accounts for 90 days with consistent profitability, your maximum account limit may be increased on a case-by-case basis after review by Nexgen.

What is the AMP Futures backend advantage?
Nexgen ProTrader Funding is the only futures prop firm built on AMP Futures infrastructure with professional CQG data feeds. This gives traders access to institutional-grade execution, live market depth, professional order routing, and the reliability that comes with one of the industry's most respected brokerage backends—the same platform used by floor traders and professional trading firms.

Do you need Nexgen software to trade Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
No, you do not need to purchase Nexgen's T3 Fibs ProTrader software to trade Nexgen ProTrader Funding evaluations or funded accounts. The software is optional and sold separately for traders who want a complete Fibonacci-based trading system with live education. Most traders bring their own strategies.

What happens if you breach a Nexgen ProTrader Funding account?
If you breach an evaluation account (account balance falls below max loss level), the account will automatically reset after 30 days if your subscription is active, or you can purchase an immediate reset using code RESETSOPF for 50% off. If you breach a Semi-Live or ProTrader Live account, it cannot be reset and you must restart from the evaluation phase.

How much does Nexgen ProTrader Funding cost?
Regular pricing ranges from $149/month (25K) to $399/month (150K). With code SOPF, pricing drops to as low as $14.90-$39.90/month—up to 90% off the regular price depending on current promotions. One-time activation fees range from $119 (25K) to $199 (150K) and include account setup, documentation processing, and 1099 contractor onboarding.

What are the payout methods for Nexgen ProTrader Funding?
Nexgen ProTrader Funding pays traders via ACH bank transfer, wire transfer, or PayPal. Payouts can be requested anytime after meeting the 8 trading days and 30% consistency requirements. Traders are paid as 1099 independent contractors, not employees. Non-US citizens must submit a W-8BEN form before their first payout.
